The dampers are an inverted monotube design which means the oil and gas reservoirs are moved away from the wheel hub reducing heat transfer and keeping the oil temperature more stable which allows for consistent damping performance, even in race conditions. Inverted dampers also reduce un-sprung weight which further improves handling and the also reduce flex for better steering response.
